03 / Measure & plan

Show what
you have in mind.

  1. What do you need?

Describe the fabrication or repair, what the part does and where it will be used.

  2. What’s the metal?

Known material and approximate dimensions help. “Not sure” is a useful answer, too.

  3. What are the arrangements?

Include your preferred completion date and any installation needs. Agree on the work, responsibilities and any drop-off time before visiting.

Custom work, assessed first.

Custom fabrication and removable metal repairs are assessed individually. Cast iron inquiries are considered case by case.

Plastic, structural, load-bearing and other safety-critical work are outside the scope shown here. Projects need assessment before acceptance.

Arrange before visiting.

Confirm the job, project quote and drop-off time in the 63031 area first.

A few useful answers

Before you
bring anything.

Is installation included?

Installation is scoped individually for each project. Confirm who will install, any site work, timing and the project quote before agreeing the job. Any site work needs to be agreed for your project.

Can I get an instant price?

Each project is assessed and quoted individually. The local brief is a starting point for assessment. It does not calculate or issue a quote.

What if I don’t know the metal?

Choose “Not sure” and prepare clear photos. The material and condition need assessment before a repair can be accepted.

Should I drop by after 3:30?

Confirm the job and arrange a time first. Deron is available after 3:30 PM weekdays and on weekends by availability. These are appointment windows, not walk-in hours.

What about special materials?

Custom materials require a deposit. Confirm the amount, terms and project quote before work begins.
